The MRT Pink Line

is a project under the Mass Rapid Transit Master Plan for the Bangkok Metropolitan Region (M-MAP) developed by the Office of Transport and Traffic Policy and Planning (OTP).

will stretch for 34.5 kilometers from the front of Nonthaburi Civic Center on Rattana Thibet Road to Rom Klao Intersection near Soi Ramkhamhaeng 192.

The monorail system was first designed by a Swedish engineer Axel Lennart Wenner Gren, and its pioneering model, ALWEG, began operation in 1901 in Germany.
